By now you’ve probably figured out that I’m Georgie Waters, a Senior Writer currently working at M&C Saatchi, Sydney.

I’ve been in the ad industry for just under 10 years. In that time I’ve worked on accounts like KFC, CBA, BWS, GIO, ING, AMEX, TAB, and a bunch of other non-acronymed clients too.

I’ve been lucky enough to snag some awards, be shortlisted for B&T 30U30, and even found time to start a not-for-profit clothing company to fight against sexual harassment.

When I’m not writing ads I could be moonlighting as a satirical journalist, whipping up something in my test kitchen, or simply brain-deep in my latest obsession.

If you’ve read this far, why not just hit me up and let’s chat.

What People Are Saying

“The girl can write! Georgie was one of my favourite people to work with because she cares and she’s competitive. Couple that with someone who can actually do ideas and you have a dangerous package. Advertising needs more of her kind.”

— Cam Blackley, Chief Creative Officer at-large.

“Georgie is a rising queen of creativity, setting a regal standard for us all.”

“Georgie is a natural leader and agitator for ideas that refuse to conform.”

“Choose the one you prefer”

— Gavin McLeod, Chief Creative Officer, CHEP Network.

“Georgie is a real creative talent. She’s excellent with words, which is excellent given she’s a copywriter. But she’s also funny, she makes me laugh. She always leans in, is a real team player and is a great, interesting human. I would happily have her on any, and every, brief if I could.”

— Emily Taylor from the Gruen, Chief Strategy Officer, M&C Saatchi AUNZ.
